PINK-PETALLED GLORY
"On a cold and misty night in Qorokwe camp, Okavango from the comfort of my bedroll, I could hear the mellifluous song of African elephants sharing their infinite wisdom - a well versed conversation of experience passed on from generation to generation, knowledge hardcoded and essential for their survival. As morning dawned I headed quietly towards the savannah to share in the glorious sunrise with my noble companions. It was then that Africa stepped into my view - bathed in pink-petalled glory - and took my breath away." Deon De Villiers - conservationist and wildlife photographer
