Botswana Highlights Safari is a 9 to 12-night itinerary ideal for couples or small groups seeking an authentic safari holiday while enjoying some of Southern Africa's best experiences.

While the Okavango may not be what you have in your mind's eye when you think of a safari; still, it is home to the big 5, many other predators, plains game and hundreds of species of animals and birds. It also offers the chance to spot creatures seldom seen elsewhere, such as sitatunga, Pels fishing owl, wild dog and the ever so majestic wattled cranes.

A journey to the Makgadikgadi Pans is a pilgrimage to an extraordinary desert oasis, where nature's wonders and cultural heritage intertwine. Spanning over 6,000 square kilometres, these shimmering salt flats form one of the largest salt pan complexes in the world, yet, contrary to its barren appearance, the Makgadikgadi Pans teem with wildlife, particularly during the wet season.

Day 4-6: Land-Based Delta Safaris at Seba Camp

Experience the transition from waterways to land as we bid farewell to Setari Camp's tranquil beauty and embark on an exhilarating land-based safari adventure, including drives and walks.

From Setari Camp, we venture to Seba Camp, located in a famous private area of Botswana. Renowned for its dramatic wildlife viewing opportunities, this area has served as a base for elephant behaviour research and wildlife filmmakers. At Seba Camp, you'll have the opportunity to further immerse yourself in the wonders of the land-based safari experience.

Traverse vast open savannahs, expansive floodplains, and enchanting woodlands as you venture on thrilling game drives, and track and locate Africa's famous wildlife, including the elusive leopard and, if luck is on your side, the critically endangered African wild dog.

Prepare to also encounter prides of majestic lions, herds of mighty buffalo, graceful giraffes, and an array of captivating wildlife that call this untamed land home. With its unique location and varied habitats, Seba Camp also offers sightings of giraffes, zebras, buffalos, impalas, tsessebe, lechwe, and wildebeest. Or saddle up for a horse riding excursion amidst the migrating herds, allowing you to witness the wildlife from a unique and intimate perspective. At night, retire to your luxury camp and be enchanted by the silence and serenity of the desert.
