Zimbabwe offers some of the best safaris in a surprisingly beautiful country with diverse landscape, friendly people, and remarkable wildlife.
Zimbabwe boasts one of the stunning wonders of the world in the Victoria Falls, where the mighty Zambezi River thunders down nearly 1,000 meters into a rocky gorge. Zimbabwe is also home to stunning wildlife-rich and beautiful national parks such as Hwange and Mana Pools.
The activities available in Zimbabwe are as diverse as its wildlife. With among the best professional guides on the continent, you can walk close to predators and elephants in safety, canoe waterways filled with crocs and hippos, enjoy fishing, and much much more.
Hwange National Park comprises a huge 14,500 square kilometres of national park and private reserve. Boasting large elephant numbers and general game and predators, Hwange still proves an excellent location to witness these animals go about the natural activities on vast open plains and wooded savannah.
Mana Pools is an all-time favourite park for Zimbabweans and experienced travellers alike. On the northern "Zambezi River" boundary to Zambia's Lower Zambezi National Park. Mana Pools National Park is situated along the mighty Zambezi River, which flows from Botswana's northern area, Linyanti, to Lake Kariba and Kabasa bora. Definitely, an experiential location, offering incredible game viewing, walking safaris, canoeing, and fishing for the adventurous family. Be prepared to cast amongst crocodiles and hippos to fish for the elusive and cunning tigerfish that Southern Africa is well known for!
No trip to Zimbabwe is complete without a visit to the Victoria Falls in the town of Victoria Falls. Most Zimbabwe itineraries would include Victoria Falls as a stopover for a night or two to allow for a scenic falls visit and cultural immersion as you take on and practice your trading techniques with the ever so creative Zimbabwe community.
Zimbabwe offers daily international flights from Victoria Falls and Harare and is considered a convenient entry or exit location for many sub-Saharan safari itineraries. Victoria Falls also has quick and easy access by road to Kasane, Botswana, and Livingstone, Zambia.

Hi Deon, the trip was fantastic. Saw all the animals except leopard, got nice and close with lions, cheetah and wild dogs. The camp team looked after us really well (we got very fat on chef’s amazing food) and our guide Paul was outstanding. The trip home was an adventure, too stormy to fly and then the roads were flooded but the driver was very knowledgeable and took us out through a coal mine (after crossing two torrents) and we actually got to the airport an hour early. Thank you once again.
