Situated in the private 64,692-acre concession; the camp overlooks a very active hippo-rich lagoon, also frequented by Botswana's mass of elephants and African buffalo. The magnificent main area is the focal point of the camp and overlooks a lagoon and its inspiring infinity pool. The dining area, lounge, library and bar are built on raised wooden platforms, all connected by walkways.
The camp comprises eight elegant tented suites, with en-suite facilities that include indoor and outdoor showers, plus one very spacious family unit with its own splash pool.
The diverse habitats of the south-eastern Okavango support a wealth of wildlife, earning the area’s well-deserved reputation as a top Botswana safari destination. It owes its productivity to the mix of habitat types that lie between its western and eastern borders: the Santantadibe and Gomoti Channels respectively.
Qorokwe’s commitment to a light carbon footprint, the camp operates on 100% solar-generators. Qorokwe also undertakes an important local responsibility in community empowerment through job creation, education and healthcare.
