Overlooking picture-postcard-perfect beaches, fringed by palm trees and with not another soul in sight, each of the 3 Blue Safari Seychelles atolls‘ lodges are wonderfully distinct and completely immersed in the natural surroundings of the Outer Islands.

The Outer Islands of Seychelles, far from the main island of Mahé, are comprised of 72 remote coral islands.  The islands and atolls managed by Blue Safaris are considered the ultimate getaways, each offering its own character and story, while providing a unique access point to the rest of the Outer Islands with offering bespoke experiences tailored to your sense of adventure.

The heart of the operations, Alphonse Island, features a beautiful lodge and is an hours flight from Mahe. From here you access the even more remote Astove Coral House and Cosmoledo Eco-camp on the far western atolls of Astove and Cosmoledo.  This is truly where nature meets sustainable hospitality.

Alphonse Island Lodge is open all year and caters to children of any age. With 22 Beach Bungalows, 5 Beach Suites and 2 4-bedroom Beach Villas, Alphonse Island Lodge is the perfect getaway for families and small groups to enjoy some of the Outer Islands and explore the uninhabited islands of Bijoutier and St Francois.

The 6-bedroom Astove Coral House in the Astove Atoll is another two hours flying from Alphonse, and this is where truly incredible snorkelling experiences await. The “Wall” is a breathtakingly beautiful sheer drop and is best described as looking down into an underwater Grand Canyon. The reef starts on the flat and then drops a vertical 90 degrees from ankle-deep water to more than 1 000 metres over a short distance. The “Wall” is known as one of the best snorkelling and dive sites on this planet. This unique lagoon system is home home to over 150 giant Aldabra tortoises.

Cosmoledo Atoll is a mere 15 minutes by islander plane from Astove; roughly 1,000 km southwest of Mahé. Here, on Wizard Island (or Grande Isle) lies Cosmoledo Eco Camp where nature meets creative and eco-friendly hospitality. The Camp is just one on the island, and consists of eight double/twin en-suite Eco Pods with a central communal dining and entertainment area – large tent with bare sand floors. The lagoon and its sandy beaches are favoured by large populations of hawksbill and green turtles for nesting and a host of feisty fish species on the flats.
