The lodge is perfectly positioned to offer some of the best wildlife viewing in the world, including the annual Great Migration, where over a million wildebeest and other animals cross the Mara River in search of fresh grazing.

The twice-daily game drives are the cornerstone of the Angama Mara experience. Led by expert Maasai guides, these drives offer guests the chance to see the "Big Five" (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros), as well as countless other species in their natural habitat. 

One of the most iconic experiences at Angama Mara is the hot air balloon safari. Floating silently over the plains at sunrise, guests can witness the Mara from a completely different perspective. The panoramic views of the landscape, dotted with wildlife, are truly breathtaking, and the experience is often described as life-changing.
